| We expected a 2 star hotel room but our room was quite big, clean, with 2 king beds, a new bath (the shower was very good) and there was a little kitchen with a microwave and a big refrigerator. The service was good and the position is not bad: half an hour walking to downtown Nassau and 20 minuts to Paradise Island.

| The hotel is definitely a good budget hotel, worth the money. It's in a great location on East Bay St. within walking distance of the Paradise Island bridges (also the Poop Deck East and Club Waterloo). There is a shopping plaza right next door with a food market, bank, coffee shop and various other stores. We bought groceries (hotel room comes with fridge and microwave!) to save money. We stayed for 5 days and walked pretty much everywhere (downtown, the Zoo, Paradise Island, Fish Fry, etc). Downtown is about 3 miles (my guess); if you are used to walking a lot it is not that far. Otherwise you can get cabs very easily.

| Basically you get what you pay for. If you have the extra money and there is a nicer hotel for a little more, stay there instead. Hotel needs Renovation!
