| In a city where it feels like you are surrounded by places to stay, the Novotel Toronto Center was perfect for me. Located close to water but without the high prices usually associated with these locals, the Novotel Toronto Center was in perfect walking distance to most attractions. Toronto as whole I would classify as a great walking city, however, I'm not sure if we had bad weather if I would have felt the same way.

| The hotel is a short walking distance to the Union Station, restaurants and supermarket which was wonderful. However, on my day of check-in, I was appalled at the room we were assigned. We reserved 2 double beds was given a 1 double bed in addition to a rollaway bed parked next to the sofa to form a bed. We complained and then was changed to a clean room with 2 double beds after also being told there were no other available rooms. On the day of check-out, I asked the front desk young lady to assist me in getting a taxi, and she said a $20 charge is required (the same lady who gave us a lousy room). She also said it's very hard to find a taxi (there were 3 taxis lined up outside the hotel). I went to one of the taxis outside and got a ride immediately. Aside from these hassles, we had a great time in Toronto. I also want to add, the concierge was very helpful and the cleaning staff always did an excellent job with our rooms.

| Good location withing easy walking distance to most of the downtown area, CN tower and Rogers Centre an easy 10 minute walk or so. Clean and comfortable and generally pretty good but don't touch the minibar if you can help it, the Spaghetti Factory right across the road had a great bar and restaurant.

| Clean, comfortable room. Hot tub and pool are convenient and fun. Restaurant buffet breakfast is nice, but a little pricey. For some reason, hotel staff kept making lots of noise in the hallway, yelling to each other about what rooms needed to be cleaned, etc. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. On the whole a good deal.

| We were very pleased with our stay. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept on in a hotel, and so were the pillows! Very close to great shops and good restaurants, and the St. Lawrence St. Market just 2 blocks away is a must visit! If you plan to catch a baseball game at the Rogers Centre, it's a decent walk, about 15 - 20 minutes. Enjoy this wonderful hotel!

| We received a decent price for the location of the hotel in downtown Toronto in walking distance to the CN tower, Queen's Quay, Hockey Hall of Fame, train station, etc. The hotel was nice and the people were very nice. We enjoyed the amenities such as the swimming pool, whirlpool, and free internet at their one and only computer station. However, we were a little displeased by the cleanliness of the room. One of our queen beds smelled like urine. Although we made two complaints, the bed continued to smell like urine. Possibly the entire mattress needed to be replaced. So my husband, son, and I had to all sleep on the other queen bed. Also, the hotel is very environmental conscience, so that put me a little bit of an edge on whether the room, sheets, comforter, pillow cases, bath tub, etc was sufficiently sanitized. I was a bit concerned that there was no flat sheet provided to separate me from the bed and the comforter since comforters are usually not washed after each guest use by hotels. Also, the parking fee at the hotel was expensive. But overall, the hotel was a convenient place to stay, had all the amnetities we were looking for, and the people were friendly.
