| This is a small hotel in the center of Rome - walking distance to the Coluseum. The service at the hotel could not have been better - just amazingly helpful - made dinner reservations, helped with travel arrangements, and arranged an airport shuttle. The rooms are old, small, the AC didn't cool the room, and our (nonsmoking) room smelled like cigarettes - overall, average for an older european hotel.

| This hotel has many great items. Great central location, great breakfast, Our room also had new furniture and new bathroom fixtures. The only minor detail that I could improve on was that the room was a bit small. I would recomend this hotel highly. I would return here when I travel again

| I was a bit worried after booking a family room for my parents, my sister, and I. My sister and I are 28 and 30 years old, so I thought the room may be cramped. The room far exceeded my expectations in the fact that there were two seperate rooms. The staff was incredible and the location was perfect. What a great place for the end of our trip!

| Hotel Raffaello is off of a quiet street not far from the Colosseum. It is pretty hilly in this area so keep that in mind if you have problems walking. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied with my stay. There is a terrace bar (at a sister hotel) that is available to guests that overlooks the Pantheon and St. Peter's in the distance. Excellent views and a great place for a drink after dinner.

| We stayed at Hotel Raffaello for a week during our vacation to Rome in March. The staff was very nice, and our room was big and very clean. The location is great, it's on a small street that is parallel to Via Cavour. We were a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain and Termini Station. We were a 30 minute walk to the Vatican, if you don't want to walk, there is a Metro Station (B Line)down the street on Cavour. Every morning they served breakfast from 7-10 a.m. and had a variety of cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs, pastries, coffee, tea, water and juice. Great way to start your morning. There are restaurants and shops to buy food very close to the hotel. My only complaint about the hotel is that our stall shower was very small. My husband and I are not big people and we both had some trouble moving around in it. All and all, an excellent hotel, I would highly recommend and will stay there again when we're in Rome.

| This hotel was a big surprise. I studied abroad in Rome while I was at Penn State and know the city pretty well. I was a little worried about staying so close to the train station, but it ended up not being a problem at all. The pictures on the website do not give it justice. It is situated in a quiet part of the city, which is good and bad. Good because it is easy to sleep at night, even with the windows open. Bad because it is away from the hustle of center Rome tourist areas which makes it difficult to take a siesta in the middle of the day, which is quite important with all the necessary walking to see the city. But overall the hotel was a great place to come home to at the end of the day.
