| Great, accessible location, room was clean and nicely decorated. There was a metal cover over a hole in the wall that would rattle regulary throughout the stay. We didn't discover the noise source until the night before checking out. Then, the morning of our checkout date, a contractor was drilling through the block wall of the room next to ours around 9 am. Having little sleep from the previous night didn't help the situation. I phoned the front desk, but there was nothing to be done. We exited quickly since the work wasn't going to stop, which is unfair since checkout isn't until noon. You would think that such a project could have waited until after determining guests had left the adjoining rooms. I paid to be there. The workers were being paid to be there. Getting into a fight with a contractor is no way to start Memorial Day. A little forethought could have alleviated the inconvenience of a hammerdrill puncturing twelve inch block while my wife and I were still asleep.

| The place had both the feel and smell of a hotel that was long past its prime.
