| The Boulder Outlook is a budget priced hotel with lots of family friendly features. The pool is large and warm and there were lots of kids there during our stay. There were beach balls available for kids to play with too which was nice. There are also boulders kids can climb on with a rubbery padded floor. The rooms were okay, your basic standard hotel rooms, but our room was clean and comfortable. Just be warned - it can get noisy if your room is near the pool!

| The pool, with its chlorine-free maintenance, was fabulous. We loved their commitment to zero waste. There was a great sense of community, with people lounging around the pool in the morning while enjoying the continental breakfast and in the evenings. A true Boulder hotel!

| This hotel is actually a motel, and along with that comes the noise and not great quality. So you have to weigh that against the price. It's basically a cheap motel. The room was clean, although the motel is older, so there were things like stained ceiling tiles and cracks in the sink. We had to move out of our first room because there was a loud tapping noise of unidentifiable origin, but the staff was friendly about moving us. The front desk folks seem to be college students with a very laid-back Boulder attitude. Our flight arrived early and my husband and toddler were very ill with fever, and we were not allowed to check into our room very early, although they did let us check in at 12:30 pm. The free continental breakfast is good. The beds were not very comfortable, and early each morning the cleaning cart is very loud outside, so it was not a restful stay for us. We did appreciate the motel's "no waste" approach - they have extensive recycling. They could do a better job of making this workable, though, like providing cloth napkins instead of paper. I would only recommend it if you can't afford a nicer hotel!

| The scenery from the room was beautiful. The room was just enough. But stay away from the resturant, my son had a Q-tip in his straw while he was trying to drink out of it, disgusting... Oh, and the laundry facility was broken and complained about it and nothing was not fixed.

| Two nights were very quiet and enjoyable but on the third night people in the pool area from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. were very loud and were partying. I had to call the front desk to ask them to quiet the people down. It took an hour to have this done.

| This hotel tries very hard to make a good impression on it's guests with nice oil paintings and a fun and funky paint job. The pool and hot tub inside the hotel is fun and makes you feel like you are on vacation. The food was pretty good, too.

| Comfortable, safe, great service...restaurant w/ blues band was a nice touch. If quiet is a necessity an outside room might be a better idea. I was able sleep well even with the pool, hot tub & bouldering rocks right outside my room. Overall, just a nice place to stay & hang out for a couple of days. Breakfast was awesome!
