The entrance to Acadia National Park is adjacent and downtown Bar Harbor is three miles away. Complimentary Continental breakfast is provided each day and complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby. The front desk is open daily, between 7 AM and 11 PM (hours subject to change).

Onsite are terraced gardens, a private pebble beach, and a dock. A seasonal outdoor pool is also provided. The hotel is adjacent to Acadia National Park, which offers numerous hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing trails. Other popular area activities include seasonal whale watching, boat excursions, sailing, fishing, and kayaking. | The bathroom tile was extremely dirty/worn. The screen door to the room was all torn and the track always stuck. For the price of the room it was not worth it. We stayed in really nice places in Niagara Falls and Stowe, VT that were much more reasonable and way better rooms.

| Hotel staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious. View was spectacular - we enjoyed our breakfasts on our patio overlooking the bay. Hotel is not walking distance to Bar Harbor, however. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the waterfront location. We'll probably try some of the cottages up HWY 3 for a future visit.
