| This resort was beautiful. The front desk service was excellent. They were quick to help you out and always had a smile on their face. The nice thing about Turks and Caicos, no one bugs you about buying this or that, or going to listen to a time-share presentation. The food was very good at the Seaside Cafe. Just be prepared that everything is expensive compared to what you pay in the state. For some reason the wait staff always frowned when you asked for separate checks...don't know why. And that is how it is pretty much everywhere you go. Don't be in a rush in what ever you do. The island way is slow and at their pace. Over all stay at Ocean Club West was excellent. The garden and ground were emaculant. We stayed in a studio suite and it was plenty of room for two people (a couple). We had a kichenette, washer/dryer unit, safe box, sitting area and the balconies are wonderful. We went in July, and the mosquitos were bad...just need lots of bug spray. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that goes to this island.

| Ocean Club West was clean and comfortable. We rented a studio and it was adequate in size and well air conditioned. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made suggestions for restuarants and if something was wrong or broken in the room or on the grounds they responed promptly. No matter where your room was, you were only a short walk to the pool or beach. Screened in poches were really nice at night if you wanted to sit and have some wine.

| We loved our suite: spacious; large deck; plenty windows; well equiped! The hotel staff could NOT have been more helpful & friendly. The property, landscaping was beautiful and well tended. The beach---white, white sand; clear, clean water; couldn't have been better. Great pool too! We'll be back!

| The beach was beautiful. The pool was very nice. Out of 3 rooms for our party, one had a huge area of peeling paint on the wall. Two of the rooms had nice views, the other had a horrible "wasteland" view. The only restaurant for the entire complex had very good food and drinks. However, Ocean Club West (and the entire island) suffers from a lack of music. I realize that many people go to the Turks & Caicos for rest and relaxation; however, music does not have to be intrusive. It could have added so much atmosphere. Along the same lines, although the people involved with the various watersports were fun and some of the bartenders were nice, a more congenial restaurant waitstaff and bar manager would be a very nice improvement. Overall, I would love to return to these islands, but I would choose another hotel.

| While we had the smallest room they offered it definitely met our needs. Our room had a king bed, screened balcony, kitchen, and washer/dryer. We were steps from a beautiful beach and a big pool. It is a great place to go and relax.

| We liked that our hotel room was actually a condo and having a full kitchen with washer and dryer came in real handy with two kids. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and not at all crowded. The hotel never felt crowded. Restaurants are VERY expensive so we would go with a meal plan next time. We will definitely go back again.

| Overall very average experience. Nice beach. Only one restaurant at the pool appropriate for a quick bite only. Room decor needed some updating but it was clean and comfortable. Staff not very friendly. If your used to a 4 or 5 star experience this is not the place. If sevice and amenities are not that important it will be fine.

| We stayed at OCW from 4/22-4/29 and enjoyed every minute of it. The 1 BR condos are spacious and clean, and while we were initially disappointed to be in building E which is the 3rd bldg away from the beach, we quickly realized that w/2 kids under the age of 6, having a patio door that led directly to the pool area was absolutely great for late afternoon swimming and lounging. Although OCW only has one restaurant, the Seaside Lounge has very good food at reasonable prices (for a vacation island). It is a 15 minute walk via the beach to Ocean Club where there are 2-3 more restaurants, or you can take a shuttle bus which you never have to wait more than 5 minutes for. I would recommend OCW as the newer construction, better pool area, and with less construction surrounding it. Also, there are 6-7 good restaurants within walking distance of OCW. My only complaints about Turks & Caicos that large scale hotel building on the beaches is rampant. OCW is a tasteful 3 story hotel. Many of the new buildings are 6-8 floors and tower over the beach. I worry what that will mean for the island in the years to come. Also, the taxi drivers on the island are generally not helpful or readily available. (We had numerous bad experiences). My only minor complaint about OCW is that the watersports rental place was often closed, but when we called ahead somone would show up to help. And if you ask, the house will provide loaner beach toys, tennis rackets, and videos for the in-room VCRs.

| The room was a one-bedroom suite and was comfortable for up to 4 people. The pull-out sofa bed was full size and OK, but not up to the comfort of the king size bed in the bedroom. The kitchen was a little tight for more than one person, but otherwise adequate and well-stocked with utensils, glassware and dishes. Full size appliances were a plus, including the microwave. A first floor terrace off of the screened porch was a nice feature, as was the ceiling fans, louvered windows and extra half bath. The main bathroom and shower was large and modern with a square tub/shower combination unit. The sliding pocket door to the bathroom worked well. Having a combination washer/dryer kept the amount of clothing minimal and their condition good and reusable during the stay. The noise from the A/C unit was a little loud, but it was not used often due to the climate a cross-breezes during the stay. The setting was well-landscaped and well-maintained. Lounge chairs and large beach towels were adequate, except for late in the day activities. Overall a great location and great experience.

| I believe that Ocean Club West is one of the best hotels in Providenciales! The staff were absolutely terrific, as were all of the taxi drivers and wait staff we encountered. A few members of the hotel staff seemed almost embarrassed to accept a tip! Our Junior Suite and the hotel grounds were really beautiful. The beach was the nicest I have ever seen, and except for a few bites, the insects weren't a nuisance (perhaps due to the time of year).
