| This B&B in a residential neighborhood of beautiful Sofia is extremely sparse in its furnishings (think former Soviet Block), yet clean and quiet. The red walls, red sheets and even red lighting take a little getting used to, but for the reasonable price, it is quite pleasant. Though it is attached to a "cultural center" where a lot of local hipsters hang out, I didn't notice any unnecessary noise in the B&B portion. The shared bathrooms were remarkably clean. Unfortunately, I left too early for breakfast. There is a 24-hour security guard.
