| The Metropole Hotel is perfect for a traveler on a budget. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for young people or those who will be out sight-seeing most of the day. The accomodations are rather spartan, for instance you have to rent a remote control to watch tv. However, the beds were comfortable, there's an en-suite bathroom. It's location is perfect for young people who want to visit the nightclubs in Paceville, and close enough to a major bus route where you can catch a bus to Mdina, Valletta or Gozo. The ferry to Valletta is also within a 15 minute walk. Also, it would be to your benefit to request a room with a balcony.
