This four-story hotel is located in Miami’s Doral neighborhood, just west of Miami International Airport and one mile east of the famous Doral Golf Resort and Spa. It offers 145 guestrooms arrayed around an attractive courtyard with a pool, tropical greenery, and Victorian-style gazebo. Amenities include a restaurant (breakfast only), two meeting rooms, and an afternoon honor bar with beer and wine for purchase. Internet access is available in the lobby via a computer with high-speed access and wireless network (surcharge for both, network cards not provided). | To begin with, the hotel is not located in the best area. The grounds do lie within a security-guard protected gate. (That should tell you something about the neighborhood.) During the night of our stay someone was trying to enter our room, persisting for about 10 minutes and waking my family. When we alerted the front desk they apologized and responed by saying that "someone had the wrong key" (how about the wrong room!) After this incident we experienced a few knocks on our door during the night. Needless to say: a very sleepless night! If you're looking to stay close to the airport, avoid this property!
