Comfort Suites Paradise Island Amenities
A few of the many Atlantis Resort facilities that Comfort Suites guests have full access to include:

  • The 11,500-square-foot Asian-theme Mandara Spa with unisex rain shower, steam room, and sauna; men's and women's relaxation lounges; and a 30-foot-diameter heated, jetted, saltwater Thalassotherapy pool surrounded by cushioned lounge chairs in an open-air pavilion. Hair and nail care and waxing are offered in addition to massage, body treatments, and facials. (Massage is also available in the Thalassotherapy pavilion.)
  • A 9,000-square-foot fitness center (fee) with cardio equipment, weight-training machines, free weights, steam rooms, and classes such as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing as well as personal trainers. Outside the center is a 95-foot lap pool.
  • A 24-hour, 50,000-square-foot casino featuring four large Dale Chihuly glass sculptures, a race-and-sports book, table games (baccarat, roulette, craps, blackjack, and Caribbean poker), and slot and video-poker machines. A high-limit area contains Baccarat Lounge, which features champagnes, caviar, and chilled seafood. Opening into the casino is Dragons Nightclub, which provides nightly live dance music.
  •

    Recreation
Although Comfort Suites has no recreational facilities of its own, guests have full access to all recreational facilities within Atlantis Resort 1 block away. The facilities include a fitness center and 10 lighted tennis courts (four clay, six hard court). Complimentary water-sports equipment at the 7-acre saltwater lagoon in the resort's center includes snorkeling gear and paddle boats. Depending on available tee times, guests also have access to the Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole championship Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island (fees charged).

Other recreational activities listed below are available near Comfort Suites; fees may apply.

    Features
What to expect: By offering moderately sized junior suites at moderate prices just 1 block from Atlantis resort, Comfort Suites attracts families and couples on a budget who wish to enjoy the full pleasure of Atlantis.

Amenity highlights: Comfort Suites includes a good-sized pool with swim-up bar and surrounding sundeck in a garden courtyard. The main attractions, however, are located in the 34-acre Atlantis resort, which begins 1 block away. Unlike guests at other Paradise Island hotels who must pay for guided tours of much of Atlantis, Comfort Suites guests enjoy complimentary access to the entire Atlantis resort, which includes a large tropical-marine habitat, 10 freshwater swimming areas, water slides, and a 7-acre saltwater swimming, snorkeling, and water-sports lagoon with access to the ocean and beaches on both sides.

Insider tip: Although Comfort Suites does not include a dinner restaurant, guests have signing privileges at 21 Atlantis restaurants, lounges, and bars. Other restaurants are located in two shopping centers within 2 blocks of the hotel.

All guests have the option of a complimentary deluxe Continental breakfast served each morning in Crusoe's Garden Restaurant or in a breakfast salon.

Crusoe's Garden Restaurant - Peaked wood ceiling and sliding glass-door walls with garden view. Also, deck seating at umbrella tables. Á la carte American breakfast menu. Lunch menu of salads, sandwiches, snacks. No dinner service offered.

Comfort Suites includes a lobby bar and swim-up pool bar.

This hotel served as a tremendous base for Atlantis vacation. The walk is very short to Atlantis. If you need more than one room, this is the only way to go. The Continental breakfast was more than enough to hold my family of six to well past lunch time. We had the full Atlantis experience without the cost.

The hotel is old and shows it. The staff is courteous and friendly. Great location and using all the Atlantis facilities made us feel like we were "in the big house". Don't sign up for the shuttle bus servie from the airport, the cab ride is quicker and half the cost.

it is a short walk to atlantis, shopping, and restaurants. i would recommend swimming in the atlantis pool vs. comfort suites. I was not too impressed with condition of pool, needs some work and cleaning. comfort breakfast well worth it vs. going out each am and paying for it. the rooms need more trash barrels, seems petty but with kids you are constantly filling it up. we enjoyed the kids club at atlantis for child care when you need day or night off. carmines in marina village shopping area is a must for dining. seagrapes a must at beach tower great for kids... all restaurants include 15% tip...anthony's also good for casual dining. the bar staff at the pool (comfort suites) was very good, friendly to all. make sure you keep card for atlantis access a fee if lost....worth it would go back.....

This hotel was outdated and grungy with an unfriendly staff. I have been to enough Caribbean resorts to have something to compare to. The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. The rooms, common areas, entertainment and staff were in need of updating. There was construction next door that woke us up every morning @ 7:00 am (not what you want on vacation). The only good quality this hotel possessed was the full access to it's near by resort on Paradise Island. I would definitely recommend spending a little extra money for a nicer stay.

comfort Suites needs do some much needed upgrades, the lighting was poor the shower head sprayed all over the floor, not enough towels for 4 person, Do some upgrading... we had come from a great hotel on Cat Island, and they were outstanding, amenties, supberb, food, service staff all just great, should have stayed there instead of going to Comfort suiets.

For the cost, we were not impressed at all with the hotel. When we got there with mutiple bags, no one would help us with them. It took 3 days to get washcloths. The room was very small. Absolutely no one gave accurate directions and some employees gave no directions at all. The saving grace was the access to the Atlantis. Without that, the trip would have been a bust!

We took a family trip here during our small kids' school vacation for the access to Atlantis. The hotel was what you would expect for a Comfort Inn -- no more, no less -- but was incredibly convenient to Atlantis, clean and comfortable. Each room has a pull out sofa which housekeeping opened every night while we were out and was perfect for our small kids. The hotel is filled with nice families who also want to spend their days at Altantis. The continental breakfast included bagels, toast, cereal and fruit (usually watermelon) and was more than adequate. We found the staff helpful and friendly although they clearly work on "Bahamas time". The hotel offers free scuba lessons in their pool, has a restaurant which does the trick for lunch (if you want to take a break from Atlantis), and always has taxis waiting if you want to go to Nassau. It is literally across the street from the entrance to Atlantis and the Atlantis Marina Village which has cute shops and restaurants and is a nice place to walk around at night. We thought it enabled us to experience Atlantis for a lot less than we would if we actually stayed there. In terms of Atlantis, it's a fun place to go once but is incredibly crowded and Disney-esque.
