| Took 18 year old and friend for final high school vacation. Were delighted! Hotel remodelled, nice. Everything you could want. Great value. Room large, clean, crisp linens. Breakfast fresh clean plentiful, juices, waffles, boiled eggs, toasts, and cereals coffees, milk. NExt door awesome affordable breakfast joint large dishes, suggest you split! 15 minutes walk to the best surfing beach, pier, shops, and corner bars and restaurants. On a main n/s road, runs straight to LAX 9 miles. LA is lovely, breezy, clean, friendly peoplehealth-conscience so lots for me to eat. Traffic's not bad at all if you avoid the rush hours. Folks don't lolligag, but they're all friendly and polite - not horns honking like New York can be. Parking was free at the hotel. The help spoke English at the desk, and we all laughed over hand signals if we needed something from the some of the cleaning staff. Breakfast was a hit, so on a couple days when the food ran low, we did search down the food bar help but we also learned where the extra salt and napkins were kept and to help ourselves. For us common midwest folk who go with the flow, but like things neat, clean and easy going, this was perfect - and - the BIG jacuzzi was always hot and clean as well - it had 6-7 lounge chairs about it. I give it a 10! Happy Holiday!

| spent one week there while family member who lived nearby in hospital. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable. TV channel options could have been better and the one computer ("business center") in the lobby meant little real work--especially with privacy--could be accomplished.Outdoor spa temperature could have been higher. Good central location.Overall, would definitely return and plan to as family member's treatment continues through coming year.

| We liked the location of this hotel--and were overall pretty satisfied. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. The computer in the lobby for guest use was great. ANd we appreciated the free parking. There were a few things in our room in need of repair and seemed neglected. I would stay here again, however, for the price and location.

| The room was satisfactory, beds comfortable and clean. A small amount of maintenance to the windows and bathroom door and I would have rated the room as very satisfactory. There might be a problem with highway noise, depending on the room you are in, but mine was quiet. The hotel staff were friendly, except for one lady, and helpful. The breakfast area was small, poorly serviced and supplied. Generally there was no hotel staff in the area. It was definitely the worst aspect of the stay, but there are other breakfast places close by.

| there were four of us in our party. We found the room much nicer than expected for the price. The breakfast was filling, but, they couyld use more help there. The robes in the room were a nice touch. It is close to the airport and to the water and some nice restuarants. The parking is free. We would definitely stay there again.

| Nice hotel, close to LAX and beaches. Nice and clean room. Free internet use in lobby. Breakfast available but is nothing to write home about, IHOP is just across the street. Spa is located at the rear parking lot and very small and it's not a very nice place to relax. But if you want a good nights sleep, this is the hotel to go to.

| I found this hotel to be very clean and the room was spacious and nice. The continental breakfast was very good and a free newspaper every morning was great. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was helpful and nice and the covered parking was a nice bonus.
