| This hotel lacks a lot of the amenities that are found a other hotels these days, but it was perfect for a low maintenance stay. The rooms were clean & the the staff was pleasant. If you are not planning on spending a lot of time in the room, it works out well.

| This Red Roof off I-83 in Timonium was very easy to get to. Right off the freeway, I could see it from the exit ramp! Whether that makes for a good night's sleep is debatable--a lot of big trucks and other noisy vehicles get off at that exit to the busy thoroughfare that is Timonium Rd. The room is no-frills whatsoever. Toiletries provided are barebones basic: shampoo in a fast-food style ketchup packet, and bar soap the size of a saltine cracker. My room had the distinct odor of old, ingrained cigarette smoke even though it's designated as a nonsmoking room. On the positive side, everything was clean and orderly. The staff was very polite and helpful; my room was cleaned during the day so I could come back and find it fresh. The desk attendant really helped me out when I accidentally locked myself out, immediately issuing me a new keycard. The best thing about this place was its people :)

| Bathrooms are small and the towels are very thin. The room was clean but could have used a tissue box (instead of a handipak of tissues) and another wastebasket.

| ~1hr drive from BWI airport, cab fee $50 (no shuttle). Rooms are comfortable and clean, but the only commodities available are towels, paper cups, a soap and some tissue paper. You will have to get everything else, so come equipped! (No coffee maker, ironing machine, not even shampoo!...)
