Hotel needs major renovation. The elevator closest to our room was out of order throughout our stay. Our bed had a plywood tucked in between the mattresses for support. We had to let the shower run until the rust stained water disappears. There were no bell boys to take your luggages to your room. It's definitly not the ideal place to stay on any vacation.

The hotel was in desperate need of a renovation. The food which was all inclusive was not good at all....dissapointing to say the least. The beach and the pool area were nice as well as the staff.

Would not recommend this hotel. Service was poor. I would not call this an all inclusive, but a pre-paid meal plan. Many features were not open when we were there.

This was my 3rd time here and it was much better. Alot of improverments have been made. It is very peaceful and laid back. The food was very good and the staff helpful. The view was beautiful. It is only rated a 2 stars but I must say it is the best two star I've ever been in. All and all a good deal and just a few minutes to St. Johns via taxi. We will be back!

The food is great, the beach is gorgeous, and the staff is wonderful. This resort is very secluded, and was actually very quiet while we were there. This is a great option for the traveller who wants to get away from their busy life, and literally have nothing to do for a while. Unlike other islands we have visited, the few beach vendors aren't pushy at all. It was a very relaxing vacation, and Antigua is absolutely beautiful! The actual building is in satisfactory condition, and needs some updating, although the grounds are well maintained. However, there are major renovations that are getting underway. For our first extended stay in the Islands, this trip left a great impression.

Still one of the best beaches I hav ebeen to! I stayed at this hotel about 7 years ago and was thrilled with my stay. Last week I was disappointed with how the quality has gone down in such a short time. There is only 1 place to eat for each meal and NO entertainment at all. The resort was empty......at least that meant plenty of lounge chairs and towels were available. The people that worked there were very friendly and nice. A few issues: the beds all had boards under them for support, after repeated request to fill the drinking water cooler in the gym, I ended up buying an expensive bottle of water since it never came. There was a 1hour power outage (at just our resort) and one of the elevators never moved, so I went to the next one....this one stopped on the correct floor but only the interior door opened.....revealing another door that never opened. We gave up on the elevators and walked up 5 flights of steps the rest of the trip fearing another pwer failure or worse. Another weird thing, no alarm clocks or clocks of any kind in the room, not even the TV had the time on it. I fogot my watch so this was a pain in the butt. Room service not included with the all inclusive package and no late night snacks so eat up at dinner!
