Great location in the heart of London's West End. First time back in the hotel since it has been refurbished and it's quite nicely done. Watch out for checking in before 2pm though, as they seem to have a problem getting the rooms ready in time for people who arrive early i.e. 12 noon! Room service was OK not nothing special, but with so many restaurants around why would you eat in?

A clean, efficient hotel with small rooms, but new, comfortable beds. Most of all, a great location near St. James Square a block from the Piccadilly.

This is a nice hotel but the attiude of the staff left much to be desired. My wife and I are easygoing folks, we rarely ask for much out of hotel staff, this staff was the worse we have ever encountered. Upon check-in they did not help us with our bags, as we came into the hotel. They then tried to switch us from a queen size bed to two doubles. After some "heated discussions" including asking for the General Manager we were finally given a room with a queen bed. Upon check out, the same issue, no help with bags, and let help in getting a cab! For the money, go elsewhere

I stayed at this hotel rigth before christmas, it is a great place to stay if you want to find yourself close to everything (I really mean CLOSE), it is located in the hear of London and yet the environment is really quite so you don't get all the noise from the busy streets around. The only problem I found was when checking out, I had to make a few calls (because of family reasons) and it happens that the Hotel charges something like 2 o more pounds a minute (!!!) imagine my surprise when I had to pay more in telephone bill that what the actual room costed. In any case I recommend this hotel just for the location, find a near by bakery or place for breakfats and defenitly do not use nither their phone nor their internet access... it is really a ripe off.

The hotel's location is great. I loved the rooms and the service was alright. The breakfast is not too great so it might be better to find other options nearby.
