| Hotel in nice location, but is far from a resort. 'Tennis court in bad shape and racquets were broken, balls were dead and the front desk people were far from helpful in any way. Room was nice and good location to see Capital Reed National Park. There is also a nice place right acroos the street with good prices.

| Torrey, Utah is a small, pleasant town right outside the entrance to Capitol Reef National Park. The Best Western "resort" is one of the motels closest to the entrance. The "resort" labeling seems to apply because they have an outdoor pool, jacuzzi, and a small convention center. Otherwise, it's a typical motel with decently comfortable rooms. Continental breakfast is *not* offered, which is a letdown compared to similar places we've stayed near the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. A big attraction seems to be a set of rooms with a spectacular view of canyon lands, but even in a room without a view (like ours), it's a short walk to see the view. Plus, if you're visiting Capitol Reef it's just more of what you see in the park. My only complaint with our room was a very small bathroom containing both the shower/tub and the toilet, and the toilet in our room was running. But closing the door to the bathroom muffled the slight noise from the running toilet. Overall, the Best Western was a nice place to stay, especially with a great rate we got via Expedia. We had to pay in advance to get the rate, but it was worth it. I also highly recommend Cafe Diablo for dinner, on the other end of town from the Best Western. It is expensive but the meals were fantastic. It is a high end "foodie" restaurant in a small rural town. On the other end of the spectrum, Brink's Burgers is great too -- delicious, cheap burgers, fries, and thick shakes.

| We were treated in a friendly and courteous manner. Our room did not have the best views, but was clean and very economical. The location, near Capitol Reef, was excellent. We also enjoyed the restaurant which featured friendly staff, good home style food and delicious pie.

| Excellent location for those visiting Capital Reef National Park. Our room and the hotel facilities were well-maintained, but the restaurant menu selection and service left much to be desired. Good value for the money, but hardly qualifies as a luxory resort as tauted online.
