An enormous rear courtyard houses several patios, a large gated circular pool, and spa tub. The ground-floor fitness center (renovated in October 2003), has a treadmill, stationary bike, universal/free weights, and more. The business center is self-service, and offers two Internet access computer terminals, printer, cutting board, and typewriter. Fax and photocopy services are available at the front desk. There is also a restaurant on-site, open for breakfast and dinner daily. Complimentary shuttle service is offered to and from SFO. Self Parking:

What to expect: This six-floor hotel has a lobby that's more airport terminal than coffee-talk nook. Accessed through a two-story entrance, the central lobby area offers chairs and couches; light streams in through the building's giant glass front. The hotel is a favorite of vacation travelers, because SFO is less than 2 miles away. Amenity highlights: The Clarion is built around an enormous rear courtyard with several patios, a large gated circular pool, and spa tub. | The hotel was comfortable. I don't understand why you have to pay for your car to park in the parking lot when they charge you enough for your room. Just because the hotel is located close to airport not everyone is going there, yet you are punished for parking as you travel.

| Although close to the San Francisco Airport, the service was poor, the hotel shabby, and our room was very small. Thankfully, we were only there for one short night.

| I've stayed here a couple of times. It's a great place if you need to stay near the airport for an overnight. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms large and clean, the price very good.

| We stayed at the Clarion for one night and the room was comfortable. My only complaint (as a girl) is that there weren't enough mirrors in the room - obviously the mirror in the bathroom, and one on the closet. One more would have been useful above the desk possibly... with three girls in the room, it was difficult at times.

| We were passing thru San Fran between France and Ohio and needed a place for one night. Restaurant was exceptional, rooms were clean and comfortable. Lobby lovely. Most of the building though looked as tough it could use an update. Very reasonably priced and included airport shuttle, a big plus for travelers.

| We were very pleased with the hotel. It was relaxing and pretty and had everything we needed, including a workout room. The shuttle service was fast and efficient. The only drawback was that the only restaurant open for dinner Sunday evening was the bar, with a very limited menu. However, the bartender was great - and the prices were reasonable. All in all, a great choice. We'd do again.

| For an airport hotel, the Clarion is not so bad. Nice lobby, good location. Halls and rooms could be touched up. Halls are a little dark, with some wear and tear in the wallcoverings. Carpet and upholstery in the rooms could use a cleaning. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean, and the rooms are surprisingly quiet.

| The lobby was gorgeous so I expected an above average room, but it was just a regular room, could've been any hotel anywhere -- though it was large and the bathroom supplies were in abundance, towels a step above. I only mention this because in some hotels, you could read through the towels. The check-in/out staff was very nice, efficient, helpful with directions to airport and car return. I had read a previous review that said the airport noise was annoying, but I didn't have a problem with it. They did my wake-up call on time, the shower was great, bed comfy, plenty of pillows. I did not use any other guest services I can think of. The room was slightly stuffy, so I tried to use the AC, but it didn't seem to work. I opened a window instead and got parking lot noise, but nice, fresh air. The location did make getting to the airport a breeze the next morning.

| Not good value. Very pedestrian hotel for near premium price. Noisy both from airport and hall. The overall appearence of the hotel is "shabby". We will not return.
