This hotel is okay if you're the type to sleep in and order room service; however, if you're like a regular traveller and probably won't spend that much time in it other than sleeping, I suggest you get something a little cheaper. Don't eat the food from the cafe... taste extremely bad for the price they charged!

I thought the desk clerk service in this hotel was first-rate. I didn't like the bed--it was pretty lumpy and not a Sleep Number bed as advertised. I also didn't like that there were ice machines only on every other floor, so it was a bit of a pain to get ice. Still in all, it was a fine hotel for the money.

The hotel couldn't be in a better location for Richmond-area shopping, especially if Yaohan is one of your destinations. The staff was professional and welcoming, and the linens and bathroom were clean. The room itself though has seen better days, with peeling wallpaper, a blurry television, stained carpets, and worn bathroom caulking. Note: The hotel charges for parking (something that wasn't clear while making reservations).

My husband lost an expensive, licensed shirt and was calling hotels looking for it. We hoped to find it before leaving Canada. Several days before we left, he contacted the Presidential and left a message with a housekeeping employee. He was assured they would call back to his cell phone after investigating the shirt issue. Three days after arriving home, he did receive a phone call saying they had the shirt and would happily ship it to him for a large fee. If they had contacted us earlier, we could have driven to the hotel and picked it up ourselves, and saved a lot of money.

I purchased a pass for overnight parking from the hotel. They have a very limited number of parking places for pass holders adjacent to the hotel and another block in a nearby multi-storey carpark. I later found out that these spaces were completely overfilled by evening, largely by wedding parties at the hotel. It was necessary to park in a nearly deserted lot with no security at all two blocks away.

This is the second time we stayed in this hotel. We just love it. People were friendly. We had a King and full beds in our room. It was very comfortable for three of us.(mom, dad and son). I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was exceptionally clean and neat. If you need a hotel close to the airport for earily moring flights, they are only 10 minutes away by hotel shuttle. They will also pick you up at the airport with a free shuttle. The only negative was the $10 per day for parking if you have a rental car.
