This hotel is located in Kananaskis Village, a planned resort community midway between Calgary and Banff. Set in a valley along the front range of the Rockies, it was built for the 1988 Winter Olympics and now offers easy access to the region’s abundant outdoor activities. The hotel features a Western-inspired decor of natural woods, rock accents, and wrought-iron fixtures. Modern amenities include a European-style spa with indoor pool, spa tub, weight and cardio room, steam room, and skin and body treatments (surcharge). The hotel has 1,486 square meters (16,000 square feet) of meeting and banquet space, with high-speed Internet access available in meeting rooms (surcharge). Supervised children’s programs are offered, and an activity desk will arrange activities throughout the Kananaskis Valley. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to the Nakiska Ski Area. Outside parking is complimentary, and garage and valet parking are available for a surcharge.
