| Nice Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Room very clean. Basic room is really a long hotel room split in 2 with a screen, providing a living room with kitchenette. Bathroom is small but nice. Pool was nice but small. Beach is across the street and a short walk to the through a RV/Camp ground.

| This was a nice hotel that met my expectations. The massage therapist (there is a room off the Gym) was amazing. If you have time, schedule a facial or massage. She was as good or better than a massage at any fancy spa.

| We recently stayed three nights at the Doubletree Guest Suites Doheny Beach and thought it was a wonderful hotel. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, our room (and entire hotel) was very comfortable and clean and the restaurant on the top floor was fine for a quick meal. It is close to everything in Dana Point including the harbor which was just a couple of minutes drive away. You can walk across the street from this hotel and through a campground for the state park and be on the beach in about 2 minutes. The evening we checked in we were given two warm, gooey, delicious chocolate chip cookies - what a warm and homey touch. We would definitely go back!

| This hotel was a decent stay for the price paid though make sure to upgrade to an ocean view otherwise you are backed up to a main road you will hear throughout the night. Nice beach across the street easy to get to and not far from Dana Point Harbour.

| Negative and Positive review: The hotel was very difficult to get to from PCH. The hotel room furniture arrangement was crowded, making it difficult to walk around and many places to stub your toes. The mornings were very noisy - you can hear every hallway door slam loudly, making it difficult to sleep. Also, the bathroom fan was extemeley loud and sounded broken. Regarding the bar on the top floor: Our Mai-Tai's were the worst we've ever experienced, full of grendine, not worth the $8. Regarding the parking lot: Once we checked out, we could not exit since we didn't have our "card". We had already turned in our "cards" as required for checkout. Since there was no hotel parking lot attendant to be found, we had to track down someone just to exit the parking lot. Besides that, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we had a great time. Our stay was pleasant overall.
