| This a run-down, seedy looking joint with a funny smell. You can walk to the French Quarter, but you won't want to walk back after dark through this area. The A/C in our room wasn't working properly, and the promised maintenance man never showed up. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

| This is a fairly old facility that has not been maintained very well. The bathroom had mold and mildew all around the bath tub. They have a parking garage that you are charged $ 14 per day but don't have enough parking spaces for you to park. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

| The employees and parking attendant at the hotel were very nice and helpful, but the hotel itself was horrible. Room was dirty, beds were uncomfortable, shower had no water pressure.

| This was a comfortable, basic hotel. Lobby and elevators were fine, service was fine. Room was clean...staff was courteous. Close to French Quarter. Would recommend taking a street car down Canal Street to the French Quarter, especially after a long day..... Taxi back to hotel in the evening. Neighborhood across the street a bit iffy regarding personal safety. Mike S

| I had called twice in advance to make reservations for a roll-away bed, which was not available at arrival. The staff at the reception desk was rather unfriendly and unpersonal; talking on the phone during the entire check-in procedure. Other guests were wantig to check in and/or out, only one of the two people behind the desk were actually working. The towels were torn and dingy; one pillow case had some kind of stain on it; spots on the wall: Coke? Blood? Tobacco juice?? Mildew on the silicone seal in the bathroom; we found one cockroach. As for the mix of clientel in this hotel, we felt like a salt grain in the pepper shaker.

| Room smelled of old musty socks, parking was a pain in the neck, and at check-in the $14.00 parking fee was added. Then at check-out the $1.00 security fee was added for the guard that was supposed to be "watching the lot", who we found to be sleeping upon our arrival. Close to Bourbon street though.
