Features
What to expect: Floor-to-ceiling windows draped with gold valences flank one side of the hotel’s spacious, high-ceilinged lobby. Colorful cityscapes painted by local artist Eric Hall surround stuffed armchairs and sofas. Located within seven blocks of Benaroya Hall, several shopping centers, and the Washington State Convention & Trade Center, the 28-story hotel attracts both business and leisure travelers.
Amenity highlights: The hotel’s top floor houses an indoor pool with spa tub, a fitness center, and an Italian restaurant--all with panoramic views of Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains, or the surrounding city. Wireless Internet access (surcharge) is available in the hotel’s lobby and 24-hour business center.
Insider tip: The hotel is one block from the Seattle Public Library, designed by Rem Koolhaas and opened in 2004. The building's steel-and-glass façade of diamond-shaped windows encompasses an entire city block. Inside, a 50-foot-high, sloping glass wall towers over the lobby, and a continuous ramp leads visitors through four floors of stacks.
Pellini - Picture windows provide sweeping views of the city and Elliott Bay from this Italian restaurant located on the 28th floor. The decor includes Venetian-plaster walls, white table linens, and a raised marble bar. Menu specialties include osso buco, carpaccio, and veal scallopini. Serving dinner only. Maxwell’s - This spacious, light-filled café serves Northwest cuisine for lunch and dinner. Lobby Lounge - Armchairs are clustered around low, round tables, and a covered outdoor patio is open seasonally. Serving beer, wine, cocktails, and light fare from early afternoon until late night.

| We had a great time in Seattle! The rooms were just ok, it was close to the freeway so it was loud. But the staff was great and the rooms were clean. A good hotel for family's on a budget. I would bring my family back. And next time we go we are not going to rent a car, it was a total waste of money.

| We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was a good location for sightseeing and going to the baseball games. The room was nice, but nothing spectacular. The bed was very comfy. Pool is small but nicely heated.

| I enjoyed this hotel, but had a difficult time figuring out the bus system. We walked uphill everywhere. Issue with the hotel is no coffee in rooms. It comes with your wake up call, but if you don't call to schedule it, it doesn't come.

| This was a decent hotel, nothing to make it stand out above the rest, but it has a favorable location in the downtown, within walking distance to everything. If you are accustomed to the lap of luxury, then look elsewhere, just a nice, well kept, clean hotel to stay in for the average traveler.

| I stayed at the Renaissance Hotel Seattle over the weekend of New Years 04/05. After going out for dinner the parking lot was completely full upon returning even though I had payed the $20.00/day for parking and was forced to park 3 blocks away and pay another $10.00. It often took up to 10 minutes to get hot water for the shower / bath. I waited over 10 minutes several times for an elevator. I relize this was a busy weekend but I was very unhappy considering the price I paid for the room.

| The Renaissance Seattle Hotel is a lovely, comfortable place except if you get a room on the freeway side, you will hear the noise. If we try it again, we would ask for a room on the quiet side and with a view of Seattle's famed Puget Sound. If we did not get a quiet room, we would not stay there. The breakfast room was emply in the morning leading us to believe that the quiet rooms were not filled up. We did not ask for a quiet room but should have after we found the localtion of our room.
