| I stayed a week while vacationing in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach Area. Staff was really nice and professional. Place was really clean and the pool was kept in great condition. Right off of I-264, close to everywhere you want to go without being in a heavy traffic/noisy area. Will definitely stay there again.

| I stayed for two nights beginning August 12. Hotel staff was friendly. No problems with housekeeping or the cleanliness of the room. Problems: The free wireless internet didn't work for the entire stay. The showerhead only lets out a trickle of water -- really poor design. If you're staying here so you can drive to Virginia Beach, factor in the cost of public parking at the beach. Everything considered, I'd stay at this hotel again.

| Had to book a hotel fast to visit a sick relative in Virginia Beach area without costing a fortune. La Quinta was clean, comfortable and convenient to where we had to go. Would recommend and if had to go back to area, would stay again. No complaints at all.

| Clean, quiet, nice area. Great for the price. Just one small thing - blackout curtains would be an improvement.

| This was a very nice hotel for the price. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was nice. Close to many restaurants and other business establishments. They do not have a work out facility but do have an association with the local YMCA and you can go there to exercise free of charge. I will go back there again when I have business in the area.

| The hotel sign is hard to see if your not paying extreme close attention. The top sign on the building is totally missing and the restuart beside its sign overshadows the hotels smaller ground sign. The outside had lots of trash and debris that needed swept up, especially in the areas where you go to your room.(ex. leaves, cig butts, paper, etc.) The housekeeping staff air personal gossip loud enough that you felt like you were part of the conversation. The elevator had clear tape over the outside of the buttons and the floor inside the elevator needed cleaned. It was dirty. The sheets were not on the beds good and they keep coming off. The price was good overall and the breakfast was okay. The tub is very rough if you plan to take a bath. It definitely needs painted, the doors and walls! With some general maintenance and repair of the building as a whole it could be a really great place to stay instead of just an okay place. Its close to the interstate and you did not hear road noise on the side we were. It is close to the Beach about a 15 minute drive.
