Features
What to expect: With its 21-story tower and nine-floor main building adjoining a pool/patio complex on the harbor, the casually elegant Westin Bayshore provides vacationers and business travelers with a resort experience just 1 mile from the downtown core. The expansive, bustling lobby features leather furnishings, marble floors, fresh flowers, a slate fireplace, and views of the harbor and mountains. Amenity highlights: This resort offers an indoor health club featuring a pool, spa, and spa services (massage), while an adjacent fitness center provides numerous cardio and strength-training machines. An outdoor pool is bordered by gardens and the harbor. The hotel also provides complimentary shuttle service available on the half-hour to the downtown core, a staffed business center with high-speed Internet access, and 24-hour room service. Insider tip: The hotel is located on Vancouver’s seawall walk, a 12-mile paved pathway suitable for cycling, in-line skating, running, and strolling. Hotel staff can arrange for skate and bike rental. Also available are year-round harbor tours, dinner cruises, and fishing charters operating from the hotel’s marina.
Currents Restaurant & Lounge - Open to the lobby and facing the outdoor pool complex and harbor, this fine-dining restaurant features bird’s-eye maple wall paneling and an open kitchen. Signature dishes include seared Queen Charlotte halibut, and herb-roasted rack of lamb. Sunday night prime rib dinners and Sunday brunch are popular. Buffet and à la carte breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner, are served daily. Seawall Bar & Grill - Ship models and barrel-bottom tables set the nautical theme in this casual bar and lounge overlooking the harbor. Bar features a large, flat-screen TV. Bar is adult-only, but the grill/restaurant is open to families—everyone is welcome to dine on the wraparound deck. Extensive menu includes soups, salads, burgers, and appetizers, including Seawall Calamari, the house specialty. Stanley Perk - Espresso bar conveniently located next to the business center. Pastries, sandwiches, fresh fruit, smoothies, and soft drinks to go.

| I would stay here again. If there is any complaint it is that the location is not truly central to much of what goes on in the city. It is however, very close to Stanley Park. This is one of the most beautiful public parks that I have seen compared to many other great cities in the world.

| On the water next to Stanley Park. Great location! Beautiful hotel. Great staff. Get a room in the tall building, not the older shorter one. Bigger rooms. Nicer views.

| In the heart of Coal Harbour, right on the seawall with a view of the harbour. This was a great room for the price.

| This is a beautiful, well-maintained and well-run hotel. The "heavenly beds" are indeed heavenly and the views of Coal Harbor, marinas, and sea planes against a background of snow covered mountains are incomparable.

| Had a harbor view room on the 19th floor for 5 nights and it was simply a great view. That being said the float planes can tend to wake you up after a long night but watching them fly by your room gives you a sense of being up there with them. We spent 2 nights on the other side of the hotel on the 13th floor of the tower and it lacked the view of the harbor but the entrance to Stanley park and the City view was nice and the noise of the planes in the morning was gone. The hotel seems to be in great shape and the service was fantastic. We spent quite a few nights in the Seawall bar and grill and on their patio having drinks and food. I will be returning to this hotel the next time I return to Vancouver.

| The bed was not as heavenly as previous Westins I have stayed in. The maid did fine on making the bed, but kept forgetting everyday to leave more toiletries.
