| Killer location if you're planning on spending time near downtown State St. We took three rooms. The walls are thin and you hear everything, but that wasn't such a big deal. The problem was the showers... literally no water pressure and hot/cold/hot/cold with a mind of it's own. You would not be able to stay here long. All three rooms were the same.

| You get what you pay for, but this is a very tired property, not that convenient to Beach or downtown except by auto; pleasant staff; meager continental breakfast. If you just need a place to crash and don't care how the place looks it is adequate

| This room was comfortable but a little chilly since the heater did not work. It looks like they gave us the better of the rooms they had. Since this was a motel, it was priced at bit high but then again it was a last minute deal. I would say that this was the lowest quality grade one could get from shopping for different rooms in Santa Barbara. Oh, and it smelled a little moldy!

| The price was nearly right, but the bathtub ruined it. Plastic tub whose inner walls were filled with water (comical until the rotten egg smell began to fill the room).

| online the Hotel was rated either 3.5 or 3 stars can't remember which by either way the hotel was far from either score. 1 star is more like it. No shower knob, holes in the blankets, holes in the towels. Arrived well after the 3pm check-in time but room was still not ready, was made to wait while the front door was being rekeyed..

| Luckily, we were out and about a lot, and spent hardly any time in the room. Brought our own towels, and didn't touch the bedspread. A little over priced for the quality of room, but I guess that the city we were in makes up for it.

| Older, quaint 25-room place. Big parking lot. In average repair but everything works in the room. Spectacular view from the top floor. Our room shared a very large patio area with the other two rooms.Never did get me the ironing board I requested. Couldn't find one.Free local calls so dial-up internet is available. However, the room configuration requires you to move furniture around and stretch cords to make this happen.Tasty pastries and decent coffee and juice at breakfast, no charge.

| WE were disappointed in the condition of this hotel. It was old and not updated. The linens were of poor quality. The bathroom shower had evidence of mold. The list of "dont's" on the bedside table which included having parties and making noise did not raise our confidence level.(however, we were not disturbed.)

| There are only portable heaters in the rooms. We plugged ours in twice, both times it blew the circuit breaker for the entire rear section of the hotel. We decided to go without it. Very old and in dire need of refurbishing. Also woke up to Santa Barbara sheriffs and police officers all around the hotel. We thought it was a good time to leave.
