| The first room was filthy and did not have the ocean view which I requested. The second room was cleaner, and had an ocean view but didn't have the king bed. The hotel staff acted as if you were putting them out when you asked for information or service except for the two shuttle drivers that were very nice. The food on the Sunday Brunch was divine; otherwise I chose to eat elsewhere. It was not my favorite place. The best part of my stay was the Journey and Def Leppard concert I went there to see.

| The good things about the hotel was a mostly pleasant staff, great location and view from every room and a nice pool and small weight room. The rooms are also all suites, so there is a lot of room for families with a small kitchenette. Unfortunately, the condition of the room itself overshadowed the good. The carpet was filthy. The shower head needed to be replaced. It just needed some all around sprucing up if its going to be called a "resort". The service at the restaurant was terrible except for the sunday brunch where the food was exceptional and the staff wonderful. If you can get a great rate and you need a lot of room, then I would recommend it, otherwise, stay at one of the newer places and go down for their sunday brunch.

| The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. It is right on the beach and close to some great hiking. You don't have to worry about the hustle and bustle of Atlantic Ave. which was a definite plus. The hotel and beach was very laid back. If you have any internet connection problems, call the number on the modem. Unfortunately, the staff was not too technical. The technical support for Wayport was very helpful and solved my problem.

| I stayed in this hotel for one night to attend a wedding, which was going to start at 4pm on a Saturday. I called around 2:00pm to see if I could check in early as the wedding was supposed to start at 4pm. Unfortunately, there did not appear to be anyone at the front desk who was capable of answering this simple question. I was transferred around 4 times, and finally gave up on trying to get an answer. I finally arrived at the hotel and was able to check in early. The room I received looked like it had been refurbished recently. I can see where other travelers might complain about noise from the hallways since the bedroom is adjacent to the door entry. I was awakened early in the morning by the sound of the next occupant's door slamming shut like a shotgun. They need to better soundproof the doors as I imagine that they can't change the layout. The final indignity was the shower. There was no hot water, and taking a tepid shower for the price I paid was unacceptable. It appeared that there was a plumbing problem with the bath faucet. When I reported it to the front desk at check out, they did not offer any concession for the problem. I would not stay here again after this experience.

| My boyfriend and I were very pleased with the quality of the hotel. The room was very spacious and the balcony was an added plus. However, the floor plan was odd. When you enter the room, you are immediately in the bedroom and the living area is at the rear off the suite. Whereas, it should be the exact opposite. The king mattress was very firm. I sleep comfortably but my boyfriend awoke with a backache. There was a small table and 3 chairs in the living area. So, instead of going out to dinner we decided to order in (sushi from a local Japanese restaurant) and have a romantic dinner for two. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would certainly return.

| Customer service at the reception desk could have been better, but overall service was ok. Tradewinds restaurant had excellent service and food. Convenient access to the beach (bayside). All rooms are suites with at least a limited kitchen, balcony, and 2 TVs which was great! The beds are in the room closest to the hallway and was very noisy if people were in the hallway talking. I had to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room area for quietness. Had a nice massage.

| The mattresses and pillows are very firm. It took a few nights to get a good night sleep. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant which was nice the service was a little slow, but pleasant.

| These suites are huge, which makes them a nice choice if you're spending several days there (as we were). We never felt hemmed in. Big living/dining area, medium-sized bedroom, a couple of closets, smallish bathroom with adjoining vanity area. But there wasn't much at all in the way of amenity. Muddy-pastel color scheme, bare walls, industrial carpet, one tiny bathtub soap: The overall effect might be described as Early Soviet. The king bed was made with unfitted queen linens. Our room's large window overlooked a half-filled swimming pool loaded with leaves (we were there in December). But folks were nice, and the restaurant food was pretty good. Think twice if you like to be pampered. But we were pleased to have a suite nearly as big as our apartment back home.

| We were thrilled with the attentiveness of the staff and the overall quality of this hotel. The room was large and well appointed - the view was wonderful - and the on site restaurant (Tradewinds) had great food !! The only complaint we had was the way too firm mattress and the lack of soundproofing (you could hear every word of a conversation taking place in rooms on either side). The pros certainly out weighed the cons at this hotel though, and we highly recommend it for the value and quality.
