All the members of the staff were friendly and very helpful, the location is excelent close to the city of Boston and several nice restaurants around. The room was nice, the hair dryer didn't work but everything else was perfect including breakfast.

The Hotel had a couple strip malls adjacent with all of the necessary items. The room was a good deal considering the cab ride to & from Harvard Square was about $14 including tip each way. Other hotels located in Harvard Square were charging significantly more. Having Starbucks and a restaurant within the footprint of the Hotel was a significant plus, when we didn't want to be in Harvard Square which was much more formal dress.

This was a great place to stay! Very clean, great location, wonderful price! I had some noisy neighbors, but that's only because they left their door wide open and were running around at 3 in the morning. I'd recommend this hotel to any travellers.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff; not far from where our friends live. Rotary in front is confusing if you're not used to it. 99, Starbucks, and a pool are a plus!! Better rate than surrounding hotels.

Pros: This hotel really tries to overcome its unimpressive location. They have a shuttle that takes you (for free) to the nearest public transportation stop (Alewife), which is about a 10-15 minute walk. The shuttle also goes to Harvard Square. The hotel was a decent price, which is why we stayed there. The breakfast was nice, and we sometimes got cookies in the lobby at night. The staff is very friendly. There is a Whole Foods next door. Cons: The area around the Tria seems run down. We did feel disconnected from the city. We couldn't get our wireless internet to work for some reason (I'm not sure if it was their fault or ours) so we had to pay for internet access in the lobby ($10 for 30 minutes), which ended up being pretty expensive. Housekeeping seemed to take all day to reach our room, and the blankets have seen better days. All in all, if you are on a budget, this hotel is a good option, but be prepared to factor in a half hour to get into Boston Proper.

I stayed here for just one night but everyone was very helpful and the room was cozy and quiet. It was clean and the furniture and bedding seemed relatively new. The pool and jacuzzi were clean as well. I had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay here.
