| This hotel is clean, contemporary, and well located. We would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend it to friends. The desk staff is not overly helpful, however. Also, be prepared to pay phone charges even if you use a credit card and call through a toll free number. The hotel will charge you for the call, plus 6% for some other fee, plus 7.5% for something else yet. American cell phones rarely work in Canada, so I don't know what else to suggest. This was a big surprise upon checkout, and my only complaint about the stay.

| Room charges/minibar charges exorbitant, but sometimes we're willing to pay dearly for convenience.

| The staff were always pleasant and helpful. The room itself quite nice, though American-sized which seemed a bit of a waste for just one person. Aside from the staff, there isn't anything exceptional: It's a nice large city hotel. Everything is well-executed and pleasant enough. The location (NW city centre) is very convenient to the train station, the Museum of Fine Arts, McGill and shopping on St Catharine & Sherbrooke Streets. Old Montreal is over a mile away, but still a nice walk. The Underground is near for going farther.

| Although my room was small and not luxurious, the hotel was very quiet and the location could not be better. All the restaurants and sights of Bishop and Crescent St are a few steps away.

| My husband and I stayed here while attending the Montreal Jazz Festival. I was a little apprehensive based on reviews of others on other web sites, but was pleasantly surprised that this hotel was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and friendly. It is also conveniently located in the center of town within walking distance of subway, restaurants, etc. Parking is available in basement garage for $17/day, not run by hotel, but may be limited in spaces. We would stay here again.
