| We wondered about the hotel when we saw a lot of security measures in the neighborhood, so we asked to see a room. It was very clean and large, nicely appointed with refrigerator and microwave. We were pleasantly surprised.

| When I first arrived in Vancouver and told the cab driver where I was staying he asked for directions. I was a bit discomforted by that but we got there just fine. The hotel itself was located rather conviently to a number of things. While a mile or so away from the nearest tram the walk goes through a pleasant neighborhood. Down the block is a nice restraunt called Tops which had a great variety of dining. The hotel itself was great. The room was much larger than I would have expected and the minifridge was an excellent bonus for an extended vacation. The staff was courteous and helpful giving some great advice for the wayward vacationer. All in all I would definitely prefer the Cassandra for my next visit to Vancouver.
