| We tried La Quinta Inn for the 1st time and were very satisfied with our choice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful and the location in San Diego Old Town was terrific -- a short walk to restaurants and historical sites. My son loved the internet availability. It was great!

| A good value. Many improvements taking place..all day long. Painting, carpentry, drywall,LOUDLY. From 7:30am until 5-6pm. It does show that the owners are making improvements. Very good location for walking Old Town and getting on freeways. Try this hotel this summer.

| The beds in our room were very old, and as thin as a pancake. we did not get one good nights rest in any of the four nights we were there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

| The hotel is located in Old Town San Diego and in walking distance of historical sites and good restaurants. The front dest staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to the airport. The room was extremely small and uncomfortable. Had no chair to sit on, only the bed. Breakfast did not meet the usual La Quinta standards, only had juice, coffee, tea and 2 kinds of cereal, no rolls, bread or bagels, etc.

| This La Quinta sits right on I-5, so there's no quiet room in the entire hotel. The pillows are hard, and we had to ask for spare blankets and more pillows. The room did not have either. The air conditioning was inadequate -- the condensation from the A/C left a large puddle on the floor. If you want to stay in Old Town, pick a hotel that's a block or so inland, where's it's not as noisy. However, accommodations aside, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

| Personable friendly staff, walk to Old Town San Diego, great freeway access, rooms on freeway side of building will get some traffic noise.
