| This hotel was a great place to stay. The location is perfect. The staff was more helpful than I expected. They were always pleasant and willing to help with anything. The room was very clean but very small which is to be expected. The shower is very very small, we soaked the whole bathroom everytime we showered! That would be the only complaint, everything else was great. If we go back to Venice, we would return to Hotel Montecarlo.

| Great location next to San Marcos, room was a little small (expected for Venice) but very clean, breakfast was included and very good. Staff was friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel after we checked out to explore the city until our flight left.

| This was our first time in Venice and the location was perfect for all the main tourist sites. It's just around the corner from Plaza San Marco and there are places to eat everywhere! The staff was always friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was more than we could eat. I felt that the room size was good for a triple-it didn't have a "view", but that was OK. The room was only for sleeping! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

| Very close to Piazza San Marco. Room just like in the pictures. High ceilings and nice chandlier. Helpful staff. Very good breakfast. In room safe is big and convenient. We liked the hotel's quick complementary trip to the Murano island. Love to come back and stay here again.

| This is a hotel right in the center of venice. It is in a prime location. There is air conditioning in the lobby and in the rooms (a rare thing in most of italy).

| Located just steps off of Piazza San Marcos. Room was small but comfortable, nicely decorated in typical Venetian style which added to the overall experience. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We had a late train out of Venice and they were very nice about holding our luggage after checkout until we were ready to leave.

| This hotel is near everything, right in the middle and walking distance to everything. Hotel staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Rooms were larger than most European rooms and the bath was terrific. Great windows to open onto walkways. Decor was fun, that funky Romano Venetian furniture with carved tables trimmed with gold. Gaudy but that's Venice!

| My daughter and i spent 10 wonderful nights at the Hotel Montecarlo. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and pleasant to deal with at all times. Because we spent so many nights there we felt like part of the hotel family. The room was charming and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The location was fabulous. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone going to Venice. I know I'll chose this hotel whenever I return to Venice (my favorite city in the world).

| Spent 2 nights at B.Western Montecarlo - Staff & location was excellent. Room (deluxe double) was clean but very small ( I hear that's how they are ) but the room & building had a strong odor. Basically, Venice floods a lot and it definately smells like it in this hotel.
