| I was very pleased with my stay at La Quinta in Sandusky, OH. We checked in later, after leaving the park and was pleasently surprised that our room had been upgraded to a suite which had 2 double beds, a jacuzzi tub and a living room with fire place! We found it relaxing, comfortable and had a great nights sleep. I woke up late and caught the last few minutes of the breakfest but from what I could tell it looked good. Commpared to some of the hotels I have stayed in after Cedar Point this one rates very high in my book. Very clean, friendly and great location!

| I selected this hotel due to convenience to the pier as well as Cedar Point. Unfortunately, I was not familiar with the stretch in Sandusky where there were several other hotel choices which I will make next time. The hotel is quite worn with an odd odor. The comforters in the room had a strange odor and were discarded from the bed. Cont breakfast was skipped and we paid to eat elsewhere. Pool water was cloudy..just not a good choice on my part.

| They gave us a room with 2 double beds when we reserved one king bed, but were quick to fix the problem. There were no towels in the room, and we had to wait for them to be washed. the pool was a little cloudy, but overall clean. Lots of families staying there, and the continental breakfast was pretty good.

| The location was fine for a trip to Cedar Point, but that is where my satisfaction ended. We booked a King room, but were told that doesn't mean anything when we arrived. The first room we were given was still being "lived in" or just handn't been cleaned yet at 6PM-the clerk didn't have a clue. He also didn't mention CP discount even after we told him we were going there. The next room was right across from the breakfast room and the door to the outside. The room door didn't even seal on the doorjam (almost an inch of light all the way around). So all night we hear people coming in and out, and from about 7AM there was a line of people outside our door laughing, yelling, etc--not to mention the microwave alarm going off every two minutes. Wall were paper-thin, and we were remnded of our college days hearing every step of the people above.
