| This hotel was perfect for us. After being delayed by the airlines, when we arrived the staff was very gracious and helpful. Ate at the steakhouse on premises, which was good but not excellent. The location is right on the water and invites a stroll after dinner. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend.

| Located blocks from just about anything you'd want to see in Norfolk, right in the heart of downtown. I had a room on an upper floor with a wonderful view. I will stay in this hotel again.

| Although probably not unique in many ways, this hotel certainly was well-maintained, convenient to shopping and restaurants, and a fairly good value. The room was of normal size, the beds large and comfortable, with more pillows than any human could ever need, which seems to be the style nowadays.

| When I checked in they gave me two double beds when I asked for a king. When I returned to the desked they said my reservations did not guarrentee a king. "Do you have any kings available?" I asked. "Oh yes," they replied. "Then why did you not honor my request?" I questioned. Of course they soon did give me a king with a water view. I expected a little sharper staff from a first class hotel. Other then this it was a great place to stay.
