| I would say that I am not hard to please when it comes to hotels. My problem with this one was not so much inside the room, because though the hotel is somewhat run-down, they have done a good job to keep it moderately clean. My problem was with the foot traffic outside, the people yelling in the parking lot, and then the morning we had to check out, the front desk called 30 minutes prior to the time to leave to find out if we were gone. After that, a random guy just walked into our room and then the maids tried to get us to leave 15 minutes early. That just left a bad taste in both my and my boyfriend's mouth. We will not be staying at that hotel again.

| Hotel was clean. There was a free breakfast available in the mornings which was very basic. Price was better than others in downtown Charlotte. Only problem with it was that it is at the edge of town where all the homeless people live so they wonder the streets at nights and weekends.

| For someone looking for a cost-effective motel-style alternative to the more expensive downtown hotels. Short, pleasant walk (about 10 minutes) south to the business district. In the room, the carpets are not especially new, nor have the bathrooms been upgraded recently.
