Republic of Texas Bar and Grill- Multilevel restaurant on the 20th floor open for elegant dinners, specializing in steak and seafood. White tablecloths and candles, and floor-to-ceiling windows for views of city lights and the bay. More casual bar features live piano Wednesday-Saturday; Sunday jazz brunch.

| Wonderful view of the bay. Very well appointed room and public areas. All staff members are friendly and helpful. The pool area was noisy, but children will do that... The coffee bar was a nice spot to read the paper in the morning. Parking on a Saturday night was very inconvenient - I was informed I would have to park at a sister location a block or so away. Couldn't use express checkout as there was a charge on my bill that was wrong. This was cheerfully, if not speedily, corrected.

| The hotel is located in a great location. We were able to take walks on the boardwalk and enjoy a great evening on the Marina and then return to a very comfortable room. The staff were very helpful from the moment we drove on to the property to the moment we left. I will definetly plan another tripAlonzo here.

| I travel monthly to Portland, Texas and always stay at the Omni Bayfront. Service staff are always great. Close to about everything.

| Rear tower rooms have poor view. Try to get rooms over the 8th floor. Othwise you have a stunning view of the lobby roof. At about $200 per night a roof view is unacceptable.

| Omni Bayfront very tired, needs updating and linens and carpets replaced. Pool area very spartan. I also stayed at their other tower, the Omni Marina. Much nicer and cleaner.

| Probably the best resturant in town is the top floor of this hotel, a steakhouse called "Republic of Texas". Super view of the Bay from almost all of the two story dining space.

| Well what can I say, we spent 2 wonderful days and experienced great service from the staff fom the valet area to checkout. We had a king room with a view of the bay and it was great and clean. Also great steaks at the Republic of Texas in the Hotel well worth the price; I thought the bike rentals were great too!

| The hotel has very nice exercise and recreational activities for the kids--indoor/outdoor pool, air hockey, ping pong table, and foosball. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff very courteous.
