Recreation
The hotel’s 24-hour health club has a spa tub, treadmills, stair machines, exercise bikes, resistance equipment, TV, and women’s and men’s locker rooms, each with dry and wet saunas. The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, an 11-mile paved path along Cook Inlet, draws walkers, runners, bicyclists, and even moose—the latter generally found toward trail's end. In winter, the trail is lighted and groomed for cross-country skiing. The closest trail access is about a mile from the hotel. Bike rentals are available downtown. Flat Top Mountain, about 11 miles from downtown, is a more strenuous hiking trail. Views from the summit encompass the city, the Chugach Mountains, Cook Inlet, and Turnagain Arm. Outfitters in Anchorage offer fly-in fishing adventures to the backcountry. The Alyeska Resort, about 40 miles from downtown, has 1,000 acres of deep, pristine snow for downhill skiing and snowboarding. Other winter pastimes near the city include dog sledding, ice skating, and snowmobile tours. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

| We stayed at this hotel June 23rd for a week. The hotel has a great location, and you can walk to anything downtown and feel really safe. The sleep comfort beds are wonderful. Pillows are a little flat but the bed is great. The food at the hotel is expensive so you might want to eat out. The lady at the travel desk was very helpful. Take the train down to Whittier to the glacier park (great trip).

| This hotel, even though you paid 3 star prices, still wants you to pay for internet as well as Parking....pretty bad. They had a habit of charging you for things without telling you until you had to pay.

| I was very pleased with my experience there. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful not to mention professional. I have been to Anchorage several times on business and enjoyed my stay there very much. I guess the only exception to that would be that the covered parking lot is very small, but that is to be expected.

| This hotel had the friendliest staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home. The restaurant and lounge had excellent food. I will definately stay there again.
