| Extra bed was not made up - they told me where to find the sheets to do it myself! Very noisy - construction on both sides. Breakfast was okay, but not enough seating. Limited retaurants nearby. The valets were very good as was the front desk staff, in person. Housekeeping line was always busy.

| For the price, the Residence can't be beat! It's in a great downtown location, (none of the maojr attractions were more than an $11 taxi ride away, and most things are within walking distance), and close to a metro station, but not facing an extremeley busy street. The kitchenette and couch/seating area were great for relaxing or doing a little work, and not feeling like you were sitting in someone's bedroom. The complimentary breakfast was extensive, and the service always extremely friendly and helpful. Considering that this was one of the less expensive hotels for the downtown area, I found the Residence to be a great value, and will defintiely stay again, on my next trip to DC!

| This hotel was a great bargain. Not only is it conveniently located, it has great amenities...not the least of which is that our room was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable (so much so that I am trying to find out the brand). The staff was always helpful and cheerful. The buffet breakfast was more than ample and always hot and fresh. The room was large and the seating area comfortable. No complaints at all here!! Will stay here again!

| The Residence Inn on Vermont NW in DC served the purpose for which we reserved the room. We had chosen a "studio" for three people, including an 82 year old. The room was a bit small and, although I had made the request when reserving, no rooms were available with two twin beds and a sleeper couch. We had to take a queen with a sleeper couch. The staff was friendly, but not especially knowledgable or helpful. On the plus side, the description had indicated a continental breakfast was included in the price. The free breakfast was a complete meal including eggs, french toast, bacon, sausages, waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast, bagels, juices, muffins and other items. The location is relatively convenient for its mid scale price, near Lafayette Park.

| This is our families first visit to D.C. and the professionalism of the staff was great. The counter people were knowledgeable of the area and willing to go out of there way to assist us. I'd really like to thank Albert and Andre for their chearfullness and respect.

| This was not a fancy hotel, but it had everything I needed and then some. Service was exceptional; staff were friendly and helpful, and, frankly, they were more attentive to customers than at much more expensive hotels. The complementary breakfast was excellent. I have not seen such a selection of quality breakfast menu items at an American hotel in a long time. I would definitely return.

| Loved our little suite at the hotel. Room was clean but was serviced late in the day and would have preferred them cleaning it early when we were not there. Only one day did they clean in the morning as opposed to 4:00 in the afternoon.

| This hotel is walking distance to all of the major sites in the city. It is not the closest to them, but it is still a great location. The rooms are clean and nice which makes it worth the walk (about 6 blocks) to the sites.
