What to expect: Possessing a venerable Las Vegas name, Aladdin nonetheless is the newest Strip hotel, with the old resort replaced by a larger one that opened in 2000. The pool complex offers two large, heated pools flanking an expansive sundeck dotted with palm trees. The shopping/dining promenade runs in a 1.2-mile circle under a softly lighted "sky" ceiling. The opulent, 32,000-square-foot Elemis Spa offers two-room suites for couples, beauty treatments, and a fitness center.

Insider tip: Located between the main casino and the mezzanine, Sinbad's Lounge is a terrific place not only for enjoying live evening entertainment but for viewing the hotel's entire neon-lit spectacle.

Zanzibar Café - Located on main casino floor; open 24 hours. Now featuring expanded menu including Pink’s Hollywood-famous hot dogs and secret chili recipe. Planet Hollywood menu items also featured, including chicken pot stickers, LA lasagna, Thai shrimp pasta, and bananas foster. Asian cuisine served as well, along with steak, prime rib, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads.

Tremezzo - Offering inside seating under colorful murals and open-air terrace seating above The Strip, this restaurant features Italian cuisine.

Spice Market Buffet - All-you-can-eat buffet restaurant offers various international food stations for lunch and dinner, including Italian, American, and Middle Eastern, along with salad/soup stations and a vast dessert station.

Elements - All curves, polished wood, and shiny surfaces; steaks, chops, seafood, and notable wine list offered.

Hotel is in the middle of a remodel , it is half Aladdin , half the Planet Hollywood hotel & Casino. Service was poor, hotel was looking worn & the new remodel is looking awful. There are plenty of choices in Vegas & I won't be back here again. Only person who was helpful was the guy getting us a cab, otherwise all the hotel staff were way below average....I suggest you try another Hotel.

My daughter and I checked in for one night. At the counter we were told they were upgrading us for free to a spa room. We were thrilled with the room and didn't want to leave. The staff was very professional, helpful and friendly. We would gladly return.

The hotel was amazing. I am an extremely fussy hotel person and usually do not sleep well in hotels. We were so comfortable. Staff was friendly, casino was fun, buffet was expensive but huge and well worth it.

Aladdin is in the best location on the strip...right in the middle. This makes it very easy to get around and see everything. The service at this hotel was wonderful. They even held our bags for us while we went to eat and do some shopping after we had checked out. (our flight was later that day) The shuttle bus ran smoothly and on time. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was huge. I would definitely stay here again. For shopping lovers, the Aladdin is attached to the Desert Passage mall. Definitely the best mall on the strip. Absolutely beautiful!

My husband and I booked a room at the Aladdin for the weekend of June 29th - July 2nd. The hotel location is its only good point. The shopping in the hotel was way over priced as was all of the food and room rates. The Casino has the tightest slots in Vegas and the dealers won't tell you anything. If you plan to book a limo for transport be careful! If you have flight delays you also won't have a limo waiting at the airport. We will not be staying at the Aladdin ever again.
