| With a great location in downtown Anchorage, serving many cruispassengers our expectations were high for this price. The rooms were ok, contained all amneties and were in pristine order. However the staff was rude upon reception and cecking out. Was uninterested in the questions asked. Next, it is kind of surprising that the Holland Amerika shuttle to the railroad station and the airport is not complementary for regular hotel customers and that considering this hotel is being advertised as a Holland Amerika owned hotel and the bus is circling half-empty.

| Our four night stay was great. The hotel is right downtown, easy walking. Breakfast was not included, the only negative. Nice comfortable kingsize bed. Great staff.

| Location is fine but parking is a problem. Front desk was fantastic for recommending where to go and what to see. Motel was dissapointing, being owned by a cruise line we thought this would insure that the place would be clean.

| We have stayed here several times before because it has a great downtown location. Very handy for shopping and dining. The rooms are pretty nice really, but this time we stayed two nights and when we returned after the first day our room hadn't been touched by anyone from housekeeping. A call to the front desk wasn't helpful. They transfered our call and we were told to leave a voice message. It was about five in the afternoon and hope was slim to get someone to clean our room. I went down to the front desk and told them to please give us a new room and he did so promptly, so it wasn't a really bad experience, but still...

| Skip the expensive continental breakfast. The lobby was small for checking in and out because most of it was used for seating. Could be better arranged. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Bed had a nice firm mattess. Location of the hotel is excellent, everything is in walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. A little pricey, but overall, we had a nice stay.

| My husband and I were traveling with another couple, we had separate rooms and were not associated with a tour group. The location was excellent, really close to anything you would want to see or do. They have a desk that will make tour arrangements for you right in the lobby. There is a free internet computer available. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. However, we had no clock or kleenex in our room. This was very frustrating. The elevators were very slow. Our room was on the second floor and when we looked out our window or went out on the deck the roof for the entrance cut our view right in half. The "continental breakfast" was expensive ($9.99 for cold cereal, danish and fresh fruit or $12.99 for the above and eggs, bacon or sausage and pancakes). The lobby was always very crowded with people and luggage waiting to go on a tour. This sometimes made movement in the lobby difficult. Employees were wonderful. I believe I would stay there again, but would want to make sure that I had a different room.

| I really liked this hotel. If I had to go to Anchorage again I would stay in this hotel. If you have a budget and want a nice comfortable hotel for not a lot of money this is it.
