| Service was great. Managers were available, pleasant and eager to listen to feedback and offer advice. Pool, breakfast and swans in lobby won over my kids! Could use a few more amenities, but close to restaraunts and shops.

| Make sure to get directions. The hotel claims Dulles Airport in its name but it is in Herndon and it is not easy to find without directions. It snowed a day before we arrived and a better job of clearing their lot; it was pretty treacherous. My daughter loved the swans swimming in the indoor fountain in the lobby and the pool but the spa was broken. The room was very nice but I expected better maid service. They were very responsive to requests but when I reserve a room for four, I expect it to be set up for four people when I arrive. The cleaning after our first night was minimal and the pull out sofa was left open and the bed in the bedroom was not completely made when we returned. The second day the toilet overflowed and although they responded quickly, they didn't sanitize the bathroom afterwards. The same problem occurred when we were checking out. There was a large loud lobby party that continued until at least 11pm one night. Although the hotel did not appear to be booked, we were given a room directly over the party. The hotel is beautiful so I would likely give it one more try. The people were nice; I just didn't want to spend my time requesting what I thought would be standard service for this type of hotel.

| The hotel was great. The only two problems we had was the hotel was hard to find we got lot finding it had to make several calls to the hotel. But they were very helpful. The second problem was the breakfest it had sat out to long. Very unlike other stays at Embassy Suites.
