| Great east side location close to Central Park. Hotel well maintained for such an old building. Great view from rooftop patio. Excellent restaurants nearby. Especially liked Sarabeth's next door. Expensive like everything else in NYC. Great place to visit.

| We were only staying overnight in New York City, but wished we could have stayed longer. Great little hotel a block from Central Park and within walking distance of all sorts of Museums. The hotel has all the charm you'd expect from an old building, lots of wood trim, ornate fixtures and the rooms are decorated to match. The continental breakfast is relaxed and plentiful with plenty of comfortable seating. Great views from the roof top patio, too.

| My stay was not bad compared to most, but the room was small. Luckily I did'nt have to stay in the room long during the day. The service was good, but the breakfast was nothing to look at! Literally, nothing but coffee and a muffin. The bed was comfortable, but if you have 2 people and luggage, good luck fitting into the room.

| Room was extremely small and the lights went out several times. It seemed very expensive to me for the size of the room. Everything else was good.
