What to expect: This hotel draws couples seeking easy access to Waikiki attractions, including the beach. Business travelers like its proximity to the Hawaii Convention center, about a mile away.

Amenity highlights: All the big-resort amenities imaginable are available just across the street at The Outrigger Reef on the Beach.

Insider Tip: All OHANA and Outrigger hotels in Waikiki offer interchangeable hospitality. Guests at any hotel are invited to enjoy dining, entertainment, and facilities at the other hotels—including the Serenity Spa (health and beauty) at The Outrigger Reef on the Beach across the street—while charging to their rooms. Exceptions: The pool at The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is reserved for that hotel's guests, and the fitness center at The Outrigger Reef on the Beach is reserved for guests of that hotel and for Outrigger Waikiki Shore guests.

Bonus tip: Little booklets titled "Outrigger's Best of Oahu" are widely available on Waikiki's streets. But only those given to OHANA and Outrigger hotel guests contain coupons for dining and shopping discounts.

McDonald's - Located just off the lobby.

OHANA Royal Islander guests can charge meals and drinks to their rooms at restaurants and bars located in The Outrigger Reef on the Beach, which is just across the street.

Hotel okay as an overnighter. Our room was very small and not very comfortable. Hotel room the size of a bathroom. Air conditioner lacking. Available parking next door assures parking in the area although it will cost you. Best thing was Starbucks across the street.

This hotel is in a great location, steps away from the beach, and you get to use the outriggers pool just across the street. The room was small but once we put our things away in the closet and drawers, it was perfect. Good size bathroom. Our room was clean. Walls are kind of thin but I hardly heard anything ever. Honestly, could not have gotten a better hotel for the money that we paid. And, when your in Hawaii, who spends that much time in your room anyways.

Unfortunately the hotel is very old and smells mold. Parking lot is very limited, only 7 or 8 spots. Location is OK.

This hotel is right across the street from Waikiki beach and walking distance from all the fun spots in Honolulu. Priced very low for a hotel so close to the beach. The rooms are small but I didn't go there to hang out in the room. I would stay at this hotel again.

Room was on the smaller side, but clean. While you're in Hawaii, you spend most of your time outside of the room, so the size wasn't a big deal. Staff was cordial.

This hotel is just ok. The elevator is so old. The rooms are small and has old air-conditioning systems. The McDonald's at the lobby is convenient.

This was a average and small hotel. Could hear the people in the room next to us talking as if they were in the room with us. The room was about the size of a SMALL bedroom with adjoining bath. Not a bad place if not spending much time in the room.
