Features
What to expect: A destination resort, the Peppermill rises south of downtown in a suburban-like district. Shops, entertainment venues, and a park are close by. Amenity highlights: Featuring mountain views, a second-floor terrace offers two heated, year-round pools and an eight-person spa. One pool sits under a waterfall emerging from an artificial mountain that houses live-action models of various animals such as bighorn sheep and bear. On summer nights, the waterfall is lighted to resemble flowing lava. This is also Reno's first hotel with two check-in/check-out kiosk's located in the lobby. Insider tip: Guests 55 and older qualify for the Peppermill's Plus 55 benefits, including restaurant discounts and two-for-one meals. The Peppermill was also selected as the Top 10 Casino Hotel in America by MSN with Citysearch (2003).

| Hotel is nice but a hike from the casino and eating places in the hotel/casino area. Decor in casino area is horrendous. Mirrors and neon everywhere, very dark, hard to find your way around because everywhere you look, it's all the same. Thought I was going to lose my mind there.

| The hotel and restaurant staff were a breath of fresh air. We have stayed in luxury hotels throughout the world and it has been a long time since we have experienced the personal, pleasant, and expedient service we encountered at Peppermill. We even enjoyed the (what many guests were overhead calling outdated) decor and ambience. It was a blast.

| The Tower Room seemed to be quite large. I only noticed the construction when I first walked into the Peppermill. My room was not near any of the work being done. The bathroom was well mirrored and lit for getting prettied up. The pool area was nice because it has 2 pools (which are heated) but the 1 pool with the waterfall felt more cool and refreshing. Which is nice in the warmer weather. The only downfall for any sun worshipers is the sun didn't hit the pool area until noon. Room service was very fast and the food was good. The slots let me play for awhile and didn't take my money right away. I was their for a Mon-Thur trip.

| The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet and relaxing. I had a great stay. The only thing I would have liked would have been a coffee maker in the room. But even so, I would stay again because of the wonderful and affordable accommodations.

| Very smokey, stayed in Montego Bay wing - had to carry my bags up several steps to get to my room, would be nice to have staff that speaks English for simple assistance, under construction had to use back entrance and wait in 100 degree temps for shuttle to airport. Nightly entertainment - terrible. Like the cheap city transportation

| This hotel is the best I have stayed in in the reno area. The service and rooms are outstanding. I have only rented the tower rooms but if they are any indication, the Peppermill out does all the others. One drawback, if it is a drawback, is that the restaurants are a bit spendy. And i don't recommend the food court. There is better food at a much better price elsewhere in town. Still, the hotel and casino I highly recommend, and will only stay there myself.

| The room that we booked was not available for the first night of our stay, and although we we "upgraded" it's never plesant to have to move. The cleaning staff was rather hap-hazard...coffee replenished one day...not the next..same with soap, etc. I love exotic soap samples, and I've seen much better elsewhere. These were a bit tacky. The room service food was excellent. The personnel were there to please. The pool was warm and lovely, and there was no lack of towels.
