What to expect: The hotel does provide free, easy, parking off the main street, and guests can carry their own bags or request bell service. Everyone is presented with a chocolate-chip cookie – warm! – during check-in. The small lobby is not really meant for mingling, but the friendly restaurant is sure to contain a conglomeration of computer specialists and biotech types, as well as leisure travelers. Amenity highlights: The resort-style pool is sheltered by swaying palms and features a children’s pool, spa, chaise lounges, showers, and plenty of towels. The remodeled restaurant and bar opens onto the pool area and offers multiple TVs, and a friendly ambience. A fitness center, business center, and gift shop are on the lobby level, and a complimentary shuttle transports guests to sights within 5 miles of the hotel, which includes the beach and shopping malls.
Sydney’s Grille: This newly remodeled restaurant offers a friendly, business-like setting, an inviting bar with multiple TVs, and both indoor and terrace seating. Fresh, American cuisine is served for all meals.

| I liked the Doubletree Delmar. They were in the middle of remodeling so there was alot of construction going on. The room service were friendly. The front desk was very helpful. Meals are pricey but delicious. My bed was very lumpy and not very firm, which is what I prefer but maybe with the remodeling they will upgrade the beds. Wireless internet is free in the lobby only, you have to pay for internet service in the rooms.

| This hotel had terrible service from the front desk to the restaurant to the bar. I was very disappointed and will not stay in another Doubletree.

| We have not toured the entire hotel, such as the pool, the cafe, etc. but as far as the rooms are concerned, they are nice and clean and the staff are nice too. And make sure ask for the cookie when you check-in, they're delicious...

| I loved the fact that the hotel had a crib for my daughter and they took pets. Everything was clean and orderly. I would go back again.
