The on-site casino has 120,000 square feet of slots, video poker, blackjack, roulette, keno, poker room, and race and sports book.

Various amusement centers and arcades, roller and ice-skating rinks, batting cages, go carts, and more can be found within city limits. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, with rock climbing, biking and hiking trails, and scenic drives, and Mount Charleston, which has biking and hiking trails, horseback riding, skiing, and snowboarding, are both within an hour's drive.

Don't even think about staying here, I stayed at the so called Pyramid deluxe room and there is really nothing deluxe about it. The carpets were worn out, the bathroom was really ugly with the wallpaper peeling and chipped tiles, and the beds had really old uncomfortable matresses with the springs poking out. This was my second visit to Vegas and what a disapointment this room was as compared to where I stayed before. Definetly give the other hotels a thought before even thinking about stepping in here.

My famly and I sayed at the Luxor the weekend of August 24th-27th. We all enjoyed ourselves extremely. This was not my first time in Vegas (3rd), and I've stayed at other hotels, but the Luxor was a really nice experience for us all. My husband and I enjoyed the casino and the bar/entertainment area. While our teen and pre-teen aged kids loved the Luxor activity level. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our check-in went smoothly and without a wait. We got the room we reserved through Expedia, a non smoking double. The pools were gorgeous, although they only had 2 of 4 open. It was enough for the number of guest at the pool. Our kids enjoyed the food court because it had a McDonalds. We, in all, had a good time in Vegas, at the Luxor, and would recommend it to travelers. You get a 4 star hotel for a inexpensive price.

We recently stayed at the Luxor and could not have been happier with our choice. The hotel is gorgeous- the pictures on the website do not do it justice at all. I was shocked by how luxorious everything was. The bathroom even has a separate shower in addition to the bath tub. With four beautiful pools and hot tubs, a gym, spa and food court all within the hotel there is no need to leave the Luxor at all!! There's also great restaurants, a wedding chapel and a great casino. The hotel has literally everything you could wish for and has a great location.

I just returned from the most wonderful vacation in Las Vegas with my boyfriend. Neither of us had experienced the Luxor before and wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed. Nice size room (we had a Pyramid Deluxe with 2 queen beds), clean and very comfortable. The only complaints I have are the noise from adjoining rooms - the walls are pretty thin - and the lack of good lighting in the bathroom. It washes you out and is useless for applying makeup! This was our first "anniversary" trip and I will cherish the fond memories we made at the Luxor. We will definitely return for many more festive occasions!

I have been to Vegas several times, our junior suite was a delicious retreat from the casinos and nightlife. Access to the room was convenient, located on the third floor of the pyramid with a nearby elevator. Also it was close to late night food and early morning coffee. The suite had dim lighting which only made it more comfortable for relaxing. We want to stay here again the next time we go.

Everything was awesome. The hotel staff bent over backwards for us everytime we needed something. The casino was quiet and clean, even though we didn't win it was great. And the second floor attractions for the kids was the perfect fit for my teenaged children.

The Luxor was comfortable and most of the staff was very good. The rooms were clean and offered enough space. It would have been nice to a regular sized closet. The Inclinator elevators were very confusing. Each bank of elevators would only go to certain floors. Gaining access to the Atrium level was accessible only from certain parts of the hotel. The pool was nice but I wish they stayed open longer. Decent entertainment for kids as long as you don't mind the expensive prices. I would stay at The Luxor again.
