| I chose this hotel based on the previous rating. However, I knew it was a bad decision once I entered the elevator. The air was so stuffy I felt like suffocating. The rooms were clean but look very old. I neither smoke nor drink. Therefore I couldn't stand the smell of alchohol and smoke in the corridor. The rooms had a small refrigerator and a game console(!) which was good. The TV entertainment menu had optional adult entertainment and games (comes with addtl cost). I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone else.

| We found this hotel to be very adequate for our needs. The only negative would be the 6:45am wake up call (jet taking off), but we were up anyway. The room had all the amenities we needed with refrigerator, microwave, sofa, tv, etc. The location is great for hopping on the interstate or heading to downtown. Breakfast was adequate but not exceptional.

| I thought the room was very nice. They had good service. The only problem I saw was that a smoking room was not ready when i got there.

| My husband and I stayed at the Norstar the evening before a flight out of Buffalo. We'd driven down from Toronto; the hotel was easy to find and despite being right next to the airport, not too loud. There is a Denny's and gas station adjacent. Clean rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast lounge. Nothing fancy -- but a reasonably priced layover hotel before a flight.

| You get what you pay for - this hotel is pretty clean, no frills and conveniently located right next to the Buffalo airport. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay close due to early flights. It is also close enough to the highways and streets to get downtown and up to Niagra Falls.

| This hotel was a good choice economically. The building is not identified as a hotel in any way and from the outside looks dark! There is however, a sign on the road that will lead you to the hotel's parking lot. The room was clean and comfortable. We were disappointed with the continental breakfast as we arrived 45 minutes before it was officially over, and there was nothing left! The attendants did not replace the milk, donuts, bagels, fruits or juices. Once everything was gone, it was over. There is a Denny's Restaurant next door if this should happen to you.

| We had problems with the plumbing in room 104 on the 12th of May. Advised hotel staff & were told maintainence would be notified. Returned 5 days later--assigned to same room. Showered with water above ankles and toilet still didn't flush properly.....yuk!!!
