    Features
What to expect: The casino has a vault ceiling painted with bright flowers and contains three huge crystal chandeliers, an example of the Mediterranean theme carried throughout the 711-room San Remo, which is small by Las Vegas standards. Gaming, adult entertainment, and off-Strip pricing comprise its attractions.

Amenity highlights: For warm-weather relaxation and sunning opportunities, a quiet garden behind the hotel provides a seasonal pool and a large sundeck.

Insider tip: Happy hour in the casino from 4–6 PM includes complimentary champagne.

Saizen - Japanese cuisine, including sushi.

Ristorante Dei Fiori - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets; carved roast beef and turkey at lunch and all-you-can-eat prime rib every evening; dessert bar; 24-hour à la carte menu.

Luigi's Place - Deli sandwiches and ice cream, with poolside terrace seating.

Bon Chance Lounge presents nightly musical entertainment.

Comprising 30,000 square feet, the Casino supplies Let it Ride, three-card poker, slots, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow, keno, and a small sports book.

The Money Club offers membership cards that earn points for casino play, which can be redeemed for cash or San Remo Bucks that increase the value of points by 50 percent and can be used within the resort.

I stayed in this hotel in May of 2005. I spent most of my time out of the room because I just could not stomach being in it. I was constantly killing large bugs that seemed to be everywhere in my room. I couldn't believe the size of the bugs in my room. I would never stay here unless you stock up on Raid.

Other than the fact that I had to wait a few hours before I could check in, I was totally satisfied with my stay at the San Remo. The room was very nice and clean and you can't beat $3 blackjack in the casino. This place is worth it because of cost and location. If substance outweighs style in your book, the San Remo is the place to be.

Considering the price and location I was satisfied with this hotel. It wasn't comparable to the newer more exclusive hotels, however I wasn't willing to pay those exorbitant prices for a room I would only spend a few hours in. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. Renovations have begun to make the hotel into "The Hooters Hotel" for completion in Feb 2006. Although a facelift is due for this aging hotel, I expect that future patrons will be younger party goers compared to the more laid back clientel who currently stay at San Remo. It's unfortuante that there will no longer be any affordable reasonably quiet hotels left in LV.

Although this hotel is at a great location and modestly priced on the strip, I don't care to stay anywhere the wall paper is peeling off and the ceiling is crumbling. Could'nt find an ice machine that worked on several floors.

Given that little time is spent in your hotel room, the San Remo is a good choice for the party crowd. It has a great location behind the Tropicana and next to the MGM. It is in the middle of the expensive part of the strip at nearly half the price of competitors. That said, the room smelled old, the casino was in need of a remodel, the elevators made you thank of taking the stairs every time they were entered. The staff was fairly helpful and courteous. You get what you pay for!

Ceiling with peeling from water damage, bathtrooms where filthy and extremmly noisy. In general the hotel could use a complete overhold! For the same amount of money you can stay at a nicer hotel. The staff was ok.
