| 1st bad impression: The person at reception did not give me the package with information from Advanced Radiation Consulting, even after I insisted it should be there. I had to call the person in charge from ARC almost at midnight to find out that actually it was there, but for some misterious reason the receptionist did not give it to me (I really needed it as it contained information and instructions for attending early next morning's class at the University). 2nd: I was given a bad smelling smoker's room, and did not change it untill the next day.

| Adequate, clean room. Good sleep surface and climate control. More than adequate full buffet breakfast added to the value. Kitchen facilities potentially very useful. Convenient location

| The room was spacious & very nicely equipped, and the grounds had a play area, pool, and other family-friendly amenities. High-speed internet was free, in-room, and easy to use. We stayed in a different South Bend hotel last spring,a nd the Residence Inn was much nice AND considerably cheaper.
