Didn't even stay the night. Our first room had a jammed door, wouldn't open easily and wouldn't close at all. The room they moved us to had a broken phone. The smell was horrible, like some strong cleaning product used to cover up something else. Mattresses were indented and you could feel the springs. We cut our loses and left.If all Travel Lodges are like this, they go on my "never again" list.

The room was quiet, no outside noises. Price was good and we only needed to stay one night. Parking was good, easy to get to.

Don't get me wrong, it's certainly not a five star, but the overall importance of location and having a place to crash for a little money were big factors in chosing this motel. The staff was very helpful (even recommended a GREAT Thai food place around the corner on I and 11th. The beds a rock hard and take your own pillow. But for the money, I'm not complaining.

A nice, cheap, clean place to stay downtown. If you aren't entertaining and don't want to blow the travel budget on a day or two in town. Close to Capitol, Convntion Center and Capitol Mall. Free parking.

Property run town and poorly maintained. Room poorly cleaned and it was obvious that there is no inspection of the rooms after cleaning. Personnel unkept and not presentable. Very disappointed in facility and its personnel considering it is located in the heart of downtown Sacramento.

Approxiately 2:30am on a friday night a group of hotel patrons returned to the motel. they were sufficiently loud as to wake us shouting racial slurs. this would continue to 4:30am and only ceased after the arrival of the police. it is understood that the motel cant be held responsible for the actions of it's customers but they are responsible to the rest of us when things go wrong. i found the management to be slow to respond and for the most part unapologetic. one patron claimed a 10% price adjustrment but because i had paid online the hoops to jump through were too much for a small price adjustment but i did leave my cell number for the manager to call which didnt happen. 10% is a pitiful adjustment for what occured. the continental breakfast was tasty.
