Sheraton Desert Oasis Vacation Villas Amenities
This hotel offers a swimming pool with nightly events such as Mexican buffets, cowboy barbeques, and fish fries. Other amenities include a gift shop, located off the lobby (sundries and souvenirs).

Once a week, a story-telling session is held for both adults and children, featuring tales of the west and adventures of historical figures.

The hotel also offers a hotdog/outdoor grill-out party every Sunday, and Tuesday nights are wine nights.

Recreation
Although golf is located nearby, water features are the pride of this resort. Besides the 4,500 square-foot pool with waterfall, there's a spa tub large enough for parties of 25, rental floats, and a schedule of daily activities including water aerobics, water volleyball, and children's crafts.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: A Southwestern-style lobby with lodgepole pine ceiling, a gentle fountain, and overstuffed, tooled leather sofas greets golfers wishing to try their luck at Scottsdale Players Tournament Club and families who appreciate the self-contained villas in a resort with playgrounds, video game arcades, and a special pool for the kids.

Amenity highlights: An extensive swimming pool layout with huge sun decks and 4,500 square-foot pool accented by a spa grotto sees lots of action, but another smaller, quieter pool is on the grounds for those who prefer more peaceful pool time.

Insider tip: Built as a small town, complete with sidewalks and storefronts, Kierland Commons is a fresh idea in shopping malls that's just a 2.5-mile drive from the property.

Oasis Grille - Poolside grill offers daily lunch and frozen cocktails. Breakfast is offered Thursday through Sunday only and includes omelets, French toast, and croissants along with other standards. The lunch menu lists jalapeno poppers, chicken quesadillas, hot dogs, burgers, and a selection of sandwiches.

It was a nice place but only if you were going to stay more than just on night. We did not relies that this was a time share.

Although the room was nicely decorated, it was much too small. There was no room to move in the bedroom and especially so after we brought our luggage in. The shower was funky and would be extremely difficult for anyone with leg and/or knee problems, etc to get in and out of. The pool was nice, though, but we probably won't be going back.

The only problem I noticed is that the check-in time is later than most and check-out time is earlier than most. Still, I believe they would have worked with me on these issues if I'd asked. Otherwise a very nice hotel. This place deserves more than 3 1/2 stars.

Nice room, very clean, and extremely comfortable "Sheraton" bed. No dining room, and while there was an outdoor grill, I never saw anyone eating anything.

Hotel was very pretty, courtyards, water features and pool very tropical. The rooms were smaller yet unique and well equipped, nice bath with jetted tub. The only downfall was the bed, it was supposed to be a king, but it seemed to be a full size, it kept be up alot becuase of my husbands elbow in my back! Check on the size before getting your room! The grille next to the pool offered suprisingly good food at a fare price. Would stay again, and bring our son next time, fun for kids too!

Very nice rooms! Comfortable king size bed, very nice tiled walk in shower with two shower heads. Kitchen w everything you need (except the groceries). Felt like home. We were there during the week, it was very quiet and relaxing. Nice pool area with shade or sun. The rooms seemed very up to date, the couch needed an update, but you couldn't tell till you sat on it. Would definetly recommend!

No complaints other than carpet was wet from cleaning when we arrived. Room was spacious, quiet, with great amenities. Pool was wonderful with restaurant/bar present and a large spa nearby. Easy access to the 101 with will take you up and down Scottsdale and Phoenix with ease. Grocery and chain stores about 1.5 miles away by highway, great shopping/nightlife about 10 minute drive to Downtown Scottsdale. RECOMMENDED!!!!

We've stayed here a few times for one or two nights. Basically three rooms--living, kitchette, and bedroom. Decent balcony also. Units are a bit on the small side, but clean and comfortable. If you like to stay in a condo when you go on vacation for a week or more, you might want to consider something a bit larger. One bathroom sink, with virtually no countertop. Good closet space, though, and kitchette is well stocked. Based on location and maintenance of units, we find this to be a good choice for a short stay in North Scottsdale.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good and very reasonable. The only drawback according to my husband was the room was on the small side , there was two children with us. If there is more than two adults get a larger room. We had a 1-bedroom.Other than that our stay was great. And yes we would go back.
